The Department of Electrical Engineering on Tuesday (27/06/2023) received an official visit by Ms Echo Qin, Executive Director of International Affairs from China’s Go Study Global Education (Go Study), which carries out educational cooperation between China and ASEAN countries. Diponegoro University Electrical Engineering, which ranks 6th according to Edu Rank, convinced Go Study to be able to offer educational collaborations and award scholarships for students and alumni of Undip Electrical Engineering. Aghus Sofwan, S.T., M.T., Ph.D as Head of the Electrical Engineering Department welcomed the initiation of the collaboration. What was offered on this occasion was an opportunity for 7th and 8th semester students to take part in the Merdeka Campus internship in the Power Generation Industry at Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP), Central Sulawesi. Students who take part in the internship will get various benefits such as a monthly salary and free housing, and after graduation they will have the opportunity to sign a work agreement. Some time later a scholarship opportunity was also presented for master’s studies in the collaborative program Zhejian University and PT CCEPC Environment Protection And Energy Comprehensive Utilization Indonesia.
